Recycling & Brush Pickup

Residential brush and bulky waste collection services for unincorporated areas of Cameron County will transition to an "On Call" collection service.

Each paying customer is allowed to set out five (5) cubic yards of brush per month and one (1) bulky item. If setout exceeds limits additional charges will apply.

This change in service will provide increased collection efficiencies and a quicker response because only the customers who request the service receive the service.

To request this service, simply call our customer service department (866-720-7772) to have a work order generated or fill in the online request form below.

Brush and bulk waste collection weeks will remain unchanged. The call in method will allow us to dispatch trucks more efficiently throughout the County to collect participating customers.

Brush should be in a separate pile and, along with the bulky items should be no more than 10 feet from the street.

This call in method will begin November 1, 2007
