Red River Service Corporation receives permit to collect and haul garbage in Rapid City

December 28, 2009 - Rapid City, SD - Red River Service Corporation (RRSC), confirmed today (December 28th) that the City has approved its application and has been issued a permit to allow RRSC to collect garbage in Rapid City effective January 1, 2010. This permit provides a much needed reassurance to Fish Garbage Service (FGS) customers that it will be in business as usual and garbage will be collected on January 1^st.

Mr. Smith, President of RRSC would also like to let the customers know that garbage collection will be on schedule as of January 1. Smith further commented, "That we take our business seriously and any efforts by others to mislead our customers will be handled in the appropriate manner."

Upon notification of award, RRWS immediately began its phase-in operations with the goal of being completely ready by February 1st. Director of Business Development, David Cooper commented, "With only 53 days from Council approval on December 9th to contract start on February 1st, Red River is asking the residents for a little patience and understanding. We have total corporate office attention on this contract and, with the dedicated effort from some very talented people, Red River will become a model corporate citizen for this community."
